Is This WR Hill’s Last Season With The Jets

Any wonder why the media speculates so often...cause we Jets fans will argue, cuss and debate utter nonsense.

While the details of this thread may have accuracy...regarding contract/who drafted him...the WR in question has played two games into his second season, the same said WR was profiled as raw route runner, with tremendous work ethic and talent who could develop into an excellent NFL WR.

Can we at least make through this season before speculating him to the scrapheap.

Ugh!

amen

collinsworth called him the most raw rookie he had ever seen last year.  in a way, this is kinda like his real rookie year

btw Hill is on pace for 80/1000 type of season.

ive said this in another thread but that kick fumble was ridiculously flukey. They could run that same play 1000 times and not have the DB's foot collide with the ball like that.

Stats.   Yeah and Geno Smith is on pace to throw for over 3700 yards, 8 TDs & 32 INTs.      Peyton Manning is on pace to throw 64 TDs.

And for what it's worth, Hill is on his way to an 80 catch 1000 yard season, which would be a great year for a kid who was as raw as he was.  Now whether or not you can see that he's improved immensely since last year is up to you, but everyone wanted to see him make strides and it appears that he is.  He has a great attitude on top of his physical skills, which is something so rare in that position.  Have some patience and just hope he continues to develop.

And just because it's fun, Hill is currently on pace for 69 catches, 1243 yards and 5+ tds.  That face that he's almost eclipsed all of last year's production in only week 3, is the exact type of improvement you want to see out of a super-raw,  2nd year receiver. He is getting consistent separation and even forced the bills to shift coverage over the top of him the entire second half.  The healthier Holmes gets and the more Hill develops, in addition to Geno's maturation, this offense could hopefully put up consistent points.

Glass jaw always injured Stephen Hill any reports on the extent of his latest injury?

"It remains unclear if any of those four key players (Milliner, Ivory, Hill or Holmes) will be available for next Monday night’s game at Atlanta – a big one for the 2-2 Jets."

At least we have 8 days to get healthy.  But it isn't looking good for us next week against a hungry Falcons team that is now 1-3.  Though they're probably going to still be without Steven Jackson.

come on man, that was a dirty hit and not even a flag. I expect a HUGE fine from the league on that one. That guy should have been ejected. If that wasn't a spear on a totally defenseless player, then that call shouldn't even exist.

Thanks I hope Gates and Obamanu are both replaced by the next game neither one offers us anything positive.
