T0mShane
I can get you a link, but eat me. That'd be interesting. Granted, he won't have a chance to win there because it's a graveyard, but the Rex connection could be amusing.

Il Mostro
I thought he did well in buffalo as DC It's not like the bills were empty in the talent department. He did well coming into a pretty good situation but really doesn't have a proven record as a free-standing DC. HC is a crazy stretch IMO.

Gangrene
Trevor Pryce wrote in the NY Times a few years ago that few realized what a large role Mike Pettine played in Rex Ryan's success. Pettine is not sentimental - Chuck Driesbach LB coach was recently let go in Buffalo after one season while Jeff Weeks hangs on with the Jets. Once Pettine got Gilmore back at cornerback and Byrd at safety, the Bills defense played well. They ranked ninth overall in the league, coincidentally one ahead of our New York Jets. Pettine needs to get rid of the goatee but will make a great head coach, a disciplinarian not a players coach. He already worked for the Browns so they know who he is, what they would be getting. Pettine or Ryan still a better choice than Caldwell.

How the hell is that a "scandal?" list all the NFL head coaches that have even come close to one of these "whatever word will make you happy" events pictured giving the middle finger at a sporting event video on the internet of him filming his wife's feet in a fetish way story about how he wants to watch another guy bang his wife you think billionaire NFL owners want to deal with that sh*t ? if they don't like his hair, do you think they want to take a chance he's even remotely like his TWIN brother ? most owners see rex as an embarrassing bufoon

BroadwayJoe12
Rex repeatedly said Pettine was going to be a head coach some day, not really surprised. Would like him to get a better job than the Browns, but at least it would get his defense out of the AFC east.

I'm looking forward to him putting up a better record next year if he gets it. Josh Gordon led the NFL with a worse QB situation than us and the defense is solid.
