Demario Davis is a perfect example of our GM blunders.

He was always a good player here...

he left us for higher offers twice and when he got his money, plays at a high level.

Yet we sign bums like Wilkerson and cheap out on guys like Davis.

Without solid management, we are doomed.

We replaced Demario with a player that is just as good and is younger in Williamson.  Also, he struggled in 2015.  His time on the Browns made him a better player.  When Macc traded Calvin Pryor for him, he was blasted for it, and now it's probably one of the best moves on his resume.

IMO, this was was definitely not a "perfect example" of our GM issues.  Quite the opposite actually.

We should have paired them up having a duo like that would have resulted in good things.

Not really because they play the same role as 3-4 ILBs.  In 2015, when Demario struggled, he was playing a totally different role in the Defense.  In 2017, when he thrived, he was playing the David Harris role.  Unfortunately, both guys just wouldn't match well.

Ive watched him all season dominate the entire NFL.

Sitting him wont fix his slump.

Update Gurley TD

CJ Anderson has been the better player over the last few weeks. Fresh legs. Not to mention Gurley had two dreadful, costly drops earlier in the half.

Todd Gurley is the NFL's best RB

I understand CJ Anderson has the hot hand for now but Todd Gurley got us here and just scored a TD
