Maynard13
There’s a reason why a team has both a punter and a FG kicker. One guy punts the other guy kicks.
mrcoops
Ammendola was really impressive. Quite amazing that he was able to punt at a high standard in his first NFL game. Let's just hope, when he finally gets to do his actual job kicking FGs and EPs, that he is even more successful.

I can remember when kickers and punters also played other positions, like linemen and linebackers. And hit 60% of their field goals, Pat McAfee talked about it on one of his podcasts. They really don't like doing it, and the practices can mess up your leg/knee. Also, then if you lost that kicker/punter, you literally have no special teams. The least of my concerns is Amendola having the stamina to kick a ball a few extra times a game.
Origen
I think the bigger issue is that no one is there to catch and place the ball for Ammendola to kick without Mann.
Albaniajet
Ballsy performance by Ammendola. His ability to punt - something not in his job description - kept this from being another jet-like embarrassing blowout
clayton163v
A fine performance by Ammendola. I have only two thoughts. First, we should have instantly tried him at Defensive End, Guard, Center and Safety. Hey, the dude was on fire. How bad could it be? Second, you realize what this means? He is our PICKER (I refuse to call him our KUNTER).
