Popular Post FidelioJet
I love watching this kinda stuff.. Contrary to a lot people's beliefs, these players do care about how the fans and what people think about them.

Jetsfan80
Only 4 posts in this wholesome thread. And we wonder why the news is always cluttered with negative stories.
BurnleyJet
Chris Spielman Is a player I used to keep a eye on even though he played for the Lions. Loved Barry Sanders, Billy Sims, Bennie Blades, and Herman Moore also.

Peace Frog
This is SO great. We need more reverence for the great players of the past. Wasn’t a Lions fan but I loved Lem Barney growing up. Like they say, youth is wasted on the young. Get off my lawn blah blah blah. We need to respect the past.

Bungaman
I saw one in the last few days where Reggie Miller got played in similar fashion while on the air by his cohosts. He was at a complete loss for words. (Sorry - I can't seem to find the link - I'll add it if I stumble on it again.) While he was never a favorite player, it was still nice to see how affected and modest he was about being put on the list of the NBA's best 75 players. TokyoJetsFan
That was awesome and always loved to watch Spielman play. This was a great idea by the Lions PR department, but I can’t help imagine how much better it would have been with JB Smoove announcing it.
kevin45
I played inside LB in high school in the late 80's. He was my favorite college player at the time when he was an all American at OSU. Congrats to himSent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

TokyoJetsFan
For those of you who don’t know the story, when he said I was just thinking about Steph there for a second, he was referring to his wife who passed away from breast cancer in 2009.
