Remember the Lions are part of the “axis of incompetence” along  with other franchises like the Chargers, Browns, Bengals , Jets & Falcons.

These franchises are losers. In those years that they actually experience success they find a crazy way to blow it and lose in heartbreak fashion.

Brilliant phrase!

Kinda seemed like the Lions were breaking out of that this year now it’s TBD. They need an answer on this drive.

So, if you are a Lion fan, are you thinking:

a) We were dominating the game until a string of mistakes, just get back to doing what we did in the first half and we will be fine, or

b) Are you out on the ledge ready to jump because you had your chance, effed it up and you just know your team is cursed

As a Jet fan i would be right out on that ledge right about now.

All those dumping on Campbell… it wasn’t a chip shot FG.  Going for it on 4th helped get the Lions here.  If all it took was an unsuccessful try on 4th down to blow a 2 score lead then the Lions don’t belong in the SB.

This is just pure nonsense.  That's like the argument that the Falcons got to the SB with a hurry up offense so they didn't need to at least run the clock down before snapping the ball when up 28-3.

The lions are completely choking away every aspect of the game. Coaching, offense, defense, and special teams. You go up three scores with a few minutes left to go in the third quarter. Completely idiotic move by Campbell. I don’t care what they’ve done all year that wasn’t the moment to go for it.

No that’s the point! When these franchises taste success and are about to break away and take the next step to the Super Bowl fate steps in and prevents it. In this case,  idiot Campbell goes for a first down instead of kicking a FG and going up by three scores.
