They have 8 national titles in basketball (most recent in 2012) and were in the Final 4 as recently as 2019. If they want to put them there for football only, I guess they have a case, but UK has always been a blue blood basketball school first and foremost, so…. Similar story for Kansas as Kentucky. They don’t belong anywhere near this list, having JUST won a natty in basketball in ‘22 (their 4th overall and 2nd in a 14-year period).
