Coach Bobby: “Yeah, Sauce is fine”

Coach PVO said this in the presser when asked whether Sauce was injured.

None of the big bad NY media bothered to ask him the most logical follow-up:

If he’s “fine”, why was he allowed to take another in-game vacation for like 30 snaps?

This is the second time now it’s happened with this player, after he did the same thing vs SF week 1.

Are players allowed to stand on the sidelines and not participate if they don’t feel like it, or was it a coaching decision to not use him?

Was it 30 plays? In any case Echols played well while he was out. Did he get a flag?

Didn't he come off and get checked for concussion?  I'm not sure guys are allowed to play while they're undergoing the tests.

He dîd, was taken into the blue tent, I didn’t see him after that until he returned to the line-up 2nd half

Yeah, he walked right past us on his way back to the locker room.  When they said head injury I figured he was done for the day.  Glad he came back in.

We're just going to keep doing what we've been doing and everything will be fine!

LMAO!  Another Saleh classic.

I know Woody is incompetent but if he doesn't fire this fraud then it's basically a form a tacit acceptance and it's on him.

He took a hell of a whack on that play, and went off for concussion tests. He came out of the blue tent, did some warmups on the sideline, then went back into the game.

Echols played well in his place - I hope we can retain Echols next year, especially if we can't keep Reed.

Woody does not care.  Jets fans are the biggest suckers in the NFL.  We all whine, bitch and complain and then show up every ******* Sunday expecting something to change while Woody prints money w/ this sh*tty team.

Woody might be the best NFL owner from a profits perspective. Biggest city in US, shared stadium costs, amazing residuals from renting the stadium for non-football events… this is what Jets fans don’t understand — from his perspective he is winning.

Agree 1000% but what I don’t get about woody is billionaires typically do not like to be embarrassed when in their circles

all of his billionaire buddies certainly look at him and laugh when it comes to the jets

all of the money he spends, consultants etc to get it right yet he still can’t figure a way out if a paper bag

it just amazes me that he doesn’t go all Steinbrenner at some point

yeaterday would have been the day I tell Bobby to get a commercial flight back cause your gone

i then go up to jd and tell him keep your bags handy, your next

Because Woody didn’t earn it or work a day in his life

No, he came back out of the locker room and was standing on the sideline by himself for multiple defensive drives spectating the game.

This.

It was pretty obvious he was cleared of a concussion well before he chose to come back in.

The hit he took wasn’t all that, either. Is it possible a hit like that could cause a concussion — yes, it’s possible. But unlikely. Sauce was just “shaken up,” and he milked it for all it was worth. Dude doesn’t like the rough stuff in the game of football, particularly not when he’s getting burned.

That said, the refs were watching him way closer than any other DB on the field, and several of the calls against him were very questionable. And the end zone incompletion to Lazard definitely would have been called PI if they were using the same standards for the Vikings DBs that they were using for Sauce.

December:  "We're only like 12 games into the season.  We'll get it fixed."

Amazing how quickly we go from the “nothing part of football” to the “meaningless wins to hurt draft position” part of football.

Sauce will rebound back to his elite ways.  Someone started this last week with this selling and not buying while trading away Sauce nonsense.

We are going to be fine fellas; we are just working through hiccups.

Saleh has been hiccupping for 4 seasons now. Woody needs to smack him in the back and push him out the door finally if he is serious about winning this season. He is the dead weight.  He is the albatross. He is holding this team back.  I know we all have been psychologically damaged from decades of ineptness and have been conditioned to blame the latest fading star that has been brought in to be the next savior, but this all falls at the feet of Saleh and his inept coaching staff. Unless the Jets are the unluckiest collective group on the planet, I find it impossible to believe that so many GOOD players have all of a sudden forgotten how to play football.  This is ALL about motivation, accountability, and coaching, and Saleh has been an abject failure across the board since he got here.  He needs to go.

Rodger and Sale , I’m sick of both of these goofys, they don’t even deserve the letters on the end of their names.

How poetic that the base of Saleh name is Sale 😂😂

What a complete clown show 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Taking this point seriously for a moment (because while its a joke, it is exceedingly accurate), when you factor in the "Must win, definitely SOMETHING Games" in which the Jets MUST win to stay mathematically alive, in those specific game circumstances over the past 3 seasons, Saleh's teams have LOST each of those games by an average margin of -20 points or so. That is an accurate statistic posted recently.

In other words, when the Jets are transitioning from the "Nothing" part of the season to the "playing out the string and finishing the year eliminated from the Playoffs", Saleh LOSES that game every time. Bigly.

Sauce is creeping into Jamal Adams territory where the dam slowly breaks and people start realizing he sucks regardless of the personal accolades. Echols needs to play. Breece Hall who I like a lot needs to be sat down too. I’d make a switch at center as well- Tippman blows.

We have now entered ineffectual coaching feeding ego monster Rodgers territory. Who knows which way is up anymore.
