Jetsfan80
Wow, JetNation is certainly in preseason form. 9 hours and 24 minutes late, and no "***" to speak of. Pathetic.
Bleedin Green
Wow, JetNation is certainly in preseason form. 9 hours and 24 minutes late, and no "***" to speak of. Pathetic. Just between the two of us, Max is likely to go in the first round of cuts. We wanted to give the kid a chance, but it's just not working out. I don't think he's even going to make the practice squad.

JetsFanFromQueens
It's been a long time coming, but kickoff and game-time is right around the corner. This offseason was dreadful in terms of not knowing if we'd see the Jets in action this up coming season, but as of right now, it's just a nice feeling knowing we're about to see our Jets of 2011 take the field. I just can't wait to see our young talents in action tonight, and believe me, we're loaded with young potential in Muhammad WIlkerson, Jeremy Kerley, Kenrick Ellis, Joe McKnight, Vladimir Ducasse (starting at RT tonight), John Conner and Kyle Wilson. We're stacked with a nucleus of rookies and 2nd year players, talents who we're expecting to make serious impacts for us this season. These kids should be fun to watch heading into the regular season. We also have some sleepers (Rookies and 2nd year players) who I'm amped to see tonight in Jeff Cumberland (TE), Scotty McKnight (WR), Bilal Powell (RB), Josh Mauga (MLB), Marcus Dixon (DT) and Logan Payne who's been hyped up as a solid special teams man. We can't forget about our 3rd year players such as Jamaal Westerman (OLB), Ropati Pitoitua (DE) and Jarron Gilbert (DT) either. I'm pumped to see how Westerman looks rushing from the outside and hopefully both Ropati and Gilbert are ready to break out as solid role players to add to the depth of our defensive front. It should also be interesting trying to evaluate how Dwight Lowery performs after making the transaction from CB to free safety. Speaking of safetys, I'll be paying close attention to Jim Leonhard who's returning from IR. One thing is for sure... This is a preseason to be excited about. First and foremost, it's key to stay healthy, but the Jets must win tonight... I'm all in with all my virtual chips stacked up on the Jets aha. Iceman88
Watching Monday Night Countdown talk about the kickoff rule change is infuriating me. TOM JACKSON YOU PLAYED WHEN THE BALL WAS KICKED AT THE 35! How can you call this a rule that changes the fundamentals of the game. Also I like how the analysts seemed to completely ignore the fact that Berman mentioned when Chicago did their kick offs from the 30 one of their players did get injured on the play. JetsFanFromQueens
I'm looking for Sanchez to have a strong first quarter. I'll take his performance with a grain of salt, considering it's a preseason game, but after going up against our defense during training camp... I'm expecting Sanchez to run our offense very efficiently.
