Torreyes is 18, 5'9", 140 lbs, and apparently the deal breaker to Red fans on who "won" the trade. One day I think internet based baseball fans will realize that sometimes you just have to go all in. Sometimes that means you give up the 18 year old who hit for a good batting average in the DSL or rookie ball or w/e not-even-AA league he was in. Prospects are fun. Actually winning at the ML level is better, so improving the ML team is better. My theory on the prospect obsession is that the internet breeds passive aggressive behavior which allows some room for a "one day" kind of attitude.
