Nick Casale and Courtney Aurillo are on the phone with him now for the JetNation Podcast. Really cool guy and he seems fired up and ready for some NY Jets football. You talk to him for 2 minutes and it is hard not to do the Jets chant.

I am officially ready for this season to start.

Edit: Here is a link to the actual Podcast.

Because that's what your podcast needs: more homers.

Bitter party of one your table is now available. Bitter party of one, lol.

Dude the season is about to start. Call me CRAZY but I really believe this team is capable of greatness. This is the year, the Super Bowl is coming to East Rutherford. Canyon of Heroes down Route 3 baby. Gotta believe. :)

Just wait until me and Evan Silva put our podcast together. It will knock your socks CLEAN OFF.

It'll be boring. The two of you have the exact same views. You need someone who hates the Jets from a different angle to better compliment your style.

Those of the objective, keen-eyed expert, perhaps?

Nonsense. I cover every negative angle.

Ed told them that he is a big JetNation.com fan and he reads the site all the time. I am seriously ready for football to begin.

That's pretty dope ^_^

That means one day he may see on of my posts. I'll take it !

Hey actually brought you up by name. He said, "How you doing?" Just kidding.

He really did seem to like JN though, that is definitely cool.

Met him in New Orleans at Pat O'Briens. Took pictures with me and Judy. Nice guy. Then he almost started a riot after the game at some hole in the wall on Bourbon St. I know some of you were actually there that night. Started a chant on a table top and some a-hole threw a drink on him. He had to be escorted out...not so sure the a-hole got out in as good of shape as when he went in.

Nick Casale and Courtney Aurillo are joined by Fireman Ed on the Podcast this week.  They take a look at the New York Jets and Ed shares his thoughts on Mark Sanchez and what the Jets must do to bring home the Lombardi.

Ed Anzalone also talks about why the Tim Tebow move was a good one.  But he tells JetNation to back Mark Sanchez.  If the Jets are going to win a world championship it is going to be with # 6.

“It’s all about the green and white, you are either with us or against us.” … Fireman Ed

One time I saw him across the stadium on the jumbotron, seemed like an intense fellow.

He was pretty intense on the phone. Very passionate about Sanchez, so he's golden in my book. But seriously while I was talking to him, all I kept thinking was that he sounds exactly like the app I have on my phone.

every time ive met ed he has seemed like a jerk : / but that's just my experience with him

I am 30 rows up from him on the same aisle at the stadium. Guy gets hounded all the time for photos, even when he is heading to the bathroom. I always see him oblige and give them a good photo. Seems like a decent dude to me.

Ed is a good guy and I've watched him treat everyone with respect and take photos with everyone who asked.

I do love when Fireman Ed leads the Jets chant nothing like it cept maybe after a win in the locker room when Rex calls on someone to break it down and in unison they sing . . AND THE HOME OF THE JETS!
