It wont take one year.....

GM Joe Douglas had quite a weekend for his first draft with the Jets. Most didn't like his picks others did like them. He drafted what the team actually needed. He drafted two olinemen, two defensive backs, one WR, QB, and a punter in the end he traded for a defensive back. Each position was of need and depth. We will have to wait for the results of this draft if it panned out or not. On paper it looks good but that's on paper, lets see when camp opens up.

Everyone better relax now its only one draft and this team isn't on its way to the playoffs because of this draft. They need a couple more drafts to fix everything that is wrong with this team. It wont take one year to fix this team!!!!

Just suppose we get a run game going and you frequently see a push with our revamped offense line.... every thing changes then.

You forget a lot of things going against them:

1) one main thing is the schedule.

2) After that the oline haven't played together at all

3) The defense have to play a lot better against the pass

You can't guarantee anything and you can't win only with running the ball in this league. Defenses will challenge the Jets offense to beat them and they will be ready.

10-6 wins the division and we manage to sweep the Dolphins and split with the Pats and Bills. We beat the Steelers in the wild card round and lose to the Chiefs in the Divisional.

Ashtyn Davis wins DROY at safety sending Jamal into a tail spin. Darnold misses 2 games and Captain Morgan goes 1-1 with 5 TDs and 2 TOs sending JN into a tailspin.

We’re making the playoffs as AFC East champions this year. I’m not really sure why you doubt that.

1) Buffalo is better and loaded at each position. They are getting better whether you like them or not

2) Miami is still rebuilding

3) Patriots are still the most dangerous team. They can surprise everyone still even without Tom Brady as QB. They are still the team to beat in this division not Buffalo, not Miami and not even the Jets.

4) Jets have a lot to prove especially Darnold. Darnold has to prove he can play a full season and not make any boneheaded mistakes. The oline still have to prove they can open holes and protect the QB. The defense still need an OLB to apply pressure on the QB and the secondary need to improve in pass protection. The major thing going against the Jets is the schedule which isn't a cake walk,

I forget nothing.  I’m not saying anything about making playoffs.  I guarantee nothing.

There is no doubt that there has been an influx of talent on the OL.  Surely we have to see what they bring and surely they have to develop together.

Please also notice that I used the word suppose...  When teams get their run game going it helps their passing game and their defense.  The dynamics of everything you compare with other teams such as Buffalo change.

1) Meh. They are only better at WR and CB. They were overrated last year bolstered by a win over us in which our QB was dying and we lost our best defensive player. We’re better where it matters most because we have a QB with the ability to win the game with his arm.

I love where this team is because it will be a good mix of pros and young talent.  That's the ideal mixture of a team to realize their potential.  Obviously with a unknown off season and one of the tougher schedules in the league... there is lot up in the air.  But there is no reason Bell can't be a featured back, Sam is a good enough QB to make his wide receivers look better with time to throw now and we will be really stout up the middle.  I am really stoked to see what will be happening in Metlife next year!
