Popular Post GreenFish
Had to look this up for comparison. So average hang time in the nfl on punts is about 4.40 seconds. He’s closing in the 5.2-5.3 range consistently. Yea we have an advantage. 10

Popular Post Cyberjet
This will be the Jets most significant pick. Unbelievable weapon. How many years have the Jets been backed up in the end zone knowing it’s a punt out to 40. Not anymore
Il Mostro
It's going to be fun watching Mann reverse field position, making other teams have to sustain a long drives to get to the red zone. He's going to flip it.

A caller had commented about perceived punting averages and he said its all about in game comparisons, not averages over a season given weather and different stadiums with different conditions. He rates his punter by how he compared on a per week basis and that whoever it was at the time won more than he lost on a consistent basis so he could care less how he ranked league wise. I have a feeling Mann is going to lead no matter how we look at him

Popular Post jetstream23
Perfect use of a 6th round pick. Rookie contract for low $$ and he could be a Top 5 Punter. He was the last of 9 Draft picks. What were we supposed to do? Pick a 12th OLineman who would be cut in August anyway??? Mann will be on the field touching the football something like 10 times per game between kickoffs and punts. No other player taken that late in the Draft would have such a direct impact on the game for us.

And if he becomes as good as all think, flipping field position for years, he could be a top pick for us
Vader
First punter to win Super Bowl MVP as he pins opponent inside the 1 yard line 9 times and we win 4-3 on two Jamal Adams sack-safeties.
