Alabama couldn't cover Yeboah. They also couldn't cover Evans a few years back who turned out to be a good player for Tampa.

Sarge4Tide
Yeboah is a tweener - not really big and physical enough to be a traditional tight end and not really fast or athletic enough to be an elite prospect as a receiver. But he can play and has a good chance to AT LEAST make the practice squad if not make the active roster
cookiemonsta911
1:19 IN 70 yard td vs Alabama. That is very interesting. TF is he not drafted.

It was reported on another thread that he got a $20,000 bonus and $200,000 guaranteed on his contract. That is cement imo.

cookiemonsta911
Yeboah had 181 yards vs Alabama in 1 game. Mike Evans is the other guy who destroyed them like that and Chase from Lsu. This kid will be a star.

I did not scout him before today, but the tape vs Alabama is all I needed to see. He is clearly a great playmaker and much better than Herndon . Facts is hes a really athletic player and will at least be as good as Smith the te from Tennessee that Titans had. Wilson will love him. He can be like Gates.

Sarge4Tide
I think we are entering the phase of the festivities where some of these guys are "camp invites" vs true UDFA signees. Not sure how all that is going to work this year though

C Mart
24 minutes ago, Sarge4Tide said: SUMMARY: A one-year starter at Ole Miss, Yeboah lined up inline and detached in head coach Lane Kiffin’s up-tempo spread scheme. After four nondescript years at Temple and a brief commitment to Baylor, he landed with the Rebels in 2020 and Kiffin’s offense helped showcase his athleticism and toughness, similar to Harrison Bryant the previous season at FAU. A high school wide receiver, Yeboah has the field-stretching speed to attack the seam and be productive against linebackers before and after the catch. While he works hard to maintain body positioning as a blocker, he can get pushed around and lacks aggressive teeth to overwhelm opponents. Overall, Yeboah will be limited as a blocker vs. NFL-level defenders, but he has functional athleticism and pass-catching traits. He projects as a versatile “move” tight end who can line up at fullback and wingback. GRADE: 6th Round

cookiemonsta911
Kenny Yeboah’s 19.4 Yards per catch in 2020 was higher than: Kyle Pitts(17.9) Pat Freiermuth(13.4) Hunter Long(12.0) Tre Mckitty(18.0) Tommy Tremble(11.0) All TEs taken in the 3rd round or earlier.
