Yeboah = Antonio Gates. He just glides on the field. I think hes better than Pitts.  He might also be better than Moore. That kid is a yac specialist.

Better then Pitts? Come on man... that's insanity... He can be some Gates clone... but Pitts? umm Nope

Joe is everything as advertised a complete GM that had learned from the best and changed NY. Whether your talking contracts, scouting, drafting, leadership, coaching hierarchy what have you.

UDFA is just yet another example, many things we aa a team needed to address and fix our operations.

Pipeline of young players to build. Loveong this off season so far

Really like this signing.  Thought Yeboah could be drafted in the 5th round.

He looks better than Chris Baker, Jace Amaro, Leggett,  and a sh*tload of other Tight Ends the Jets have wasted relatively high picks on..

Excellent!  I felt he was not a perfect fit for us (more of a 3-4 outside linebacker).  But he does have edge potential and I LOVE his name.  Hamilcar was a great Carthaginian general.  His folks have a sense of history.

Carthago delenda est, so I dunno.

Wesco will be cut soon.   Bad pick.

He was a bad pick but who would you replace him with? We have no one at that position on our roster other than him.

Maybe, just maybe, he fits better in the offense we are going to run this year.

Y'all seem more worried about who plays FB than the HC and GM.

Mosley, lol.  I love that he is such a s***.  We should have traded him for a 7th round pick.

Well said.  He will never hit on every pick, being at 60% probably gets you to the hall of fame.   But its amazing to see an organization with an actual draft plan - we took a rookie QB and solidified our OL to protect him and took 2 play makers to help the offense as a whole.  It great to see.

Plus we have 4 picks in the top 60 next year to solidify the defense or any other spots we need.   Great day to be  Jets fan

Who would you suggest plays that role in our offense based on our roster right now? The offense we are going to run uses a FB.

It's not my job to suggest it. I figure they've got a plan, and it will play out before games start... 4 months from now.

"Hamilcar commanded the Carthaginian land forces in Sicily from 247 BC to 241 BC, during the latter stages of the First Punic War. He kept his army intact and led a successful guerrilla war against the Romans in Sicily."

Carthage bit the dust centuries later in the third Punic War.  Hamilcar held up his end.   However, Hannibal was the bomb in the second Punic War.  His annihilation of the Roman Army in the battle of Cannae is still talked about today.  Though in the end, the Romans were too many and too strong.

The problem is our roster was so bereft of talent that we couldn't address that specific position today. We've had plans before and still ended up signing Kevin Hogan off of his couch.

My question still stands. What other player do we have right now that could play the Wesco role? I'm coming up blank.
