I want Cashman to do well, but can anyone tell me what Cashman does well? Answers besides, he does well at getting injured. What does Cashman do when he is playing at his peak?

He actually is a very good coverage linebacker. Good instincts. Good tackler. He just can't  stay healthy. It's a shame.

I think the Jets figure that because he is a cheap 5th round draft pick, if he can play well for 1/2 the games it’s ok.

Right.  Considering our lack of LB depth and the financials (he's under cheap team control thru 2022), there's no reason to cut him this year.  Maybe next year we'll have a lot more LB depth and he'll be expendable.

Him constantly being put on IR doesn't actually hurt our roster flexibility anyways...

When he's in there, he's good in coverage, is a good tackler and flys all over the place.  There's a reason he hasnt been cut despite all these injuries. They have high hopes for him.

Actually, I think it's because Cashman's father has some papers on Woody Johnson. Nothing else remotely makes sense.

As I remember, Cashman would 'assist' on A tackle and all his fans are like, "he's FLYING ALL OVER THE FIELD!!" Then, before it can be posted on Anti-JetNation through their 14.4 modems, he's injured AGAIN.
