I'm curious what about seeing a potential employer for a job makes him sound bitter? Did he make a statement or something?

He did not sign a futures contract with the Jets.  We only called him up for games never promoted him to the active roster. We promoted Zuniga In the last week instead of him.

He has a chance to earn more money for this season, put more tape on film, and potentially win a ring.  How in the world do you manage to turn that into “he must be pissed at the Jets”?

He played 8 games with the Jets. Saleh loves him. Something must of happened for him to not sign a futures contract

Yeah; the ability to make more money this season, put more tape out there, and potentially win a ring.  That’s what happened.

He played in 8 games for the Jets this year. He played with Saleh in SF and NYJ. Don’t get why we did not sign him to a futures contract.

Because he had a chance to sign with a playoff team and also I think isn't futures contract eligible

Blair on the other hand had much more of an impact in 2021. The former Robert Saleh disciple was brought in to be a locker room leader who was comfortable in the new scheme.

Although he was injured to start the season, Blair came on strong down the stretch, outperforming players like Shaq Lawson and Sheldon Rankins. The former Niners lineman typically plays defensive end but he’s got the size and versatility to line up inside.

A five-year veteran, Blair finished with one sack and 28 tackles in eight appearances (three starts). Pro Football Focus graded him at a 69.9 on run defense — an area the Jets struggled with over the first half — and a 62.3 overall. He accumulated nine quarterback pressures and 14 defensive stops
