Rarely does a talented young roster find itself with such a dire need at QB. He was fine today: nothing spectacular but few opportunities to have to be spectacular. —Garrett Wilson might haul in 752 receptions this season (with AR). His fluidity in certain spots, while reading defenses, meshes brilliantly with the way AR plays QB. —Zach Wilson showed some solid things mixed with some troubling things. Solid reads, a couple of excellent timing throws in great spots. It still about the kid’s mind, overcoming his overall mindset. —Tippmann, while he’ll have to win the job from McGovern, is a good one. How low he gets (with balance), at his height, is astounding. —The Jets DBs are still the best position on the team. MC2 with a strong day. Sauce may legitimately be the most valuable non-QB to any team in the NFL. —Amos wearing No. 0. —Becton going with Sr. on the jersey, and he looks fantastic. Moving well. —Hardman is firmly entrenched in the plans for this offense. —Team is deep at WR. —Ruckert and Kuntz have a tremendous opportunity early in camp, with the state of that position (injuries). —Michael Carter got a lot touches today, which is expected with Breece not participating yet. —It was definitely a shorter-type session today, not full gear. Tempo was solid, and contact was ok, considering no full pads. —Offense had to perform team pushups for a foul-up (perhaps a penalty) at one point. —Quinnen Williams had his Jersey completely torn on one side by the end of the day. —Mitchell also has a great opportunity with Duane Brown not participating yet. —OL positionals had a lot of fire to it, led by the new coach. —The few fans who were on hand were also hyped, as a “J-E-T-S” chant sprung once practice finished. 14 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
