If you are a good Dline that does not produce when you get doubled you get 10-12 million dollars. If you are a franchise 'game wrecker' who does it all you get 24 million a year. He is a really good player but he has been a huge disappointment this year in the grand scheme of things. Not getting sacks, our run defense is one of the worst in the league. Jones drafted Parsons, Lamm, has built and rebuilt good olines, his QB he got in the 4th round. McCarthy just puts out top tier offenses year after year.
