No One Is Getting Fired

Once again... To all of the posters wanting JD, Saleh and or Hackett fired.  Not going to happen.

All will be back next season.

Woody already assured them all that they have a "get out of jail" card due to the Rodgers injury.

This is simple to sum up.  The Jets brass gambled with Rodgers and they lost.  They will ALL be back at the same table next year.

And... If the offensive line is properly manned, they will have a good season.

Rogers fixes the QB situation and the OC situation.  Hackett is just there to assist Rodgers.  Rodgers is the de facto OC/Play Caller

The defense will be in tact and just as potent.

For the time being, keep fingers crossed that they keep losing.  Joe Alt in the draft is key to repairing the offensive line.

Disagree.....the destruction cycle is in full swing. Players are starting to hate being in this team. Anyone with talents begins to play poorly, which increases the hate, which increases the bad play.

Will Zach get his red shirt year? Will he be QB2? Or will he be traded to a real team for a bag of donuts?

The QB money situation would suggest he will be gone.  My inner voice tells me JD and Woody want him back on the roster.  I'm also fairly sure Wilson wants out.  Who could blame him ??? True he has been awful, but so has the offensive line and play calling.  He's been a human ping pong ball.

Anyone who thinks Rodgers is going to waltz in a lift this team up is in for a rude shock.

His worst year since his rookie year was his last year in Green Bay, he has been off for a full year after that, he is 40, our GM has shown no ability to fix the oline at all.

We have one decent WR and since we do not have our 2nd rounder next year we can only fill OT or WR not both.

They going to add WR D. Adamas in FA and an OT in the draft.  Hopefully, Joe Alt. Probably one or two interior offensive lineman in FA and or draft.

You are likely right but that assurance was given with at least a tiny bit of the assumption that they would be somewhat competent. And they simply have not. They all need to go. Can't have AR keep you hostage.

Adams is not a FA, we may add a OT in the draft but that just means we need two more oleinman as well.  Presently we have two NFL quality oline and one gets hurt every year.

Rodger's contract says they are all back next season for a second try.  No way around it.

I believe that you are correct. No one will get fired. But that shouldn’t be the case. Jd saleh and ZW all have proven to be incompetent and they all should be shown the door.

Complete organizational failure:

Owner—-> MetLife stadium —-> GM. —> HC —> assistant coaches—-> scouting department —-> medical staff ——> training staff —-> grounds crew ——>  kitchen staff at Florham Park

I heard the kitchen staff rocks. And scouting is not awful since we are good at UDFA signings. JD sucks for sure though as well as all the others.

If Rodgers wants out he will work his deal. Thats exactly why the Jets have all the cards. You can want these losers back just dont be shocked when the results suck next year too.

Rodgers is in love with the deal the Jets gave him.  He owns the place.  No way will he be looking to shoot his way out.

2024 is Rodgers Redoux.

We also can't forget that Woody was out in front in the Rodgers acquisition.

We just gotta hope that JD gets his head out of his ass regarding the offensive line.  If he is not strongly committed to giving full priority and attention to adding three quality starters to the line, 2024 is going to be another disaster and quite possibly the end of his career as a GM.

Rodger's contract says no such thing. And did you ever think that Rodgers after this season might want Saleh and JD gone? He looked very disillusioned.

There is no legal content that says they will all be back, but speaking circumstantially, it does say they will all be back.  Why ??? Because Woody says so.  They all get a pass due to the unexpected disaster of injury to Rodgers before his jock strap got sweaty.

Even if they do fire everyone, nobody is going to want a job with the Jets.

Screwed either way…

Jets job would be very appealing.  Great owner who spends money, HOF QB, nice core of young, superstar players,  high 1st round draft pick, best city in the world etc.

Jets job would be a great opp for any coach.  Its insane to think this isnt a great situation.

Woody said that in March and again the assumption is that JD and Saleh would show to be a little competent...which they haven't. Woody can change his mind. If he feels too much pressure he will.

Untrue.

Woody would have to put in work for the first day in his life and he'd have to just do one thing that most of the rest of us do on a daily basis: be humble. Realize and own that which you don't know. Which in his case, is pretty much everything.

Clean house, get Harbaugh on the phone, admit to him that you have no idea what you're doing, so you're changing your approach and are going to turn over full control of the football organization over to people that understand and have proven that can succeed at... football. Write him a blank check, sell that stupid necklace, and disappear from public view, not to be seen again until it's time to accept the Lombardi trophy on a stage somewhere.

This is also true.

This is a job that a proven winner can come into, get his teeth into, and become an absolute LEGEND in the eyes of one of the largest and hungriest fanbases of any sport anywhere in this country.

Jets fans never learn

-Plug in latest hyped top picked LT rookie and everything is fixed with the O Line

-Trade future resources for a 30+ year old WR who happens to be super expensive

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
