I think Vrable goes to the Chargers and Blank gives BB near total control. Tennessee? No idea. As for NYJ, I have no idea what the dynamic of AR and Harbaugh would be, but if Woody hadn't painted himself into a corner and threw the checkbook at him, NYC wouldn't be too big for Captain Comeback

Woody is not a good owner and the record shows it. I haven't argued otherwise, but when someone is providing "evidence" to their predetermined argument, usually one would try to avoid being arrogantly, unequivocally wrong about what they're even citing. Even Woody's dumb ass is still far more intelligent than this thread.
nyjets1969
Woody likes to meddle and have a hand in how the franchise is run a recent example Arron Rogers. A coach like Harbaugh wants Woody stay In his office and keep his mouth shut. That's why Woody hires rookie GM and coaches because he can get the final word in thats somthing that's not happening with a coach like Harbaugh and probably explains why both Parcells and Belichick left when Woody bought the team. 2

Dozens of billionaires bid on teams when they become available. It’s what they do when they have nothing else to do. Bezos would buy a team if one became available for example. Cuban, Paul Allen, etc.

Fantasy Island
https://www.businessinsider.com/jeffrey-epstein-other-little-black-book-2021-6 excerpt: The newly discovered black book, dated October 1997 in a handwritten annotation, offers a snapshot into Epstein's life roughly a decade earlier. It contains 375 entries and the names of 349 people — the majority of whom do not appear in Epstein's little black book from the aughts. It contains the names, telephone numbers, and addresses of dozens of prominent figures who have never before been associated with Epstein. Among them are Suzanne Ircha, who's married to Woody Johnson, former President Donald Trump's ambassador to England and the owner of the New York Jets; There is a connection between Woody and Epstein. Step in Goodell and make him sell the team.

Popular Post y2k8
It'a amazing to think now 25 years later that we would have been better off if James Dolan won the bid. Par for the course tho. It couldn't be any worse than Sam Darnold. (We get Zach Wilson). It couldn't be any worse than Todd Bowles. (We get Adam Gase). It couldn't be any worse than John Idzik. (We get Mr Coffee). The Jets prove the rule that what ever happens, it can, and likely, will get worse. 3 1 1

The Rangers have been good most of the past 20 years and the Knicks are 4th in the Eastern Conference and made the playoffs 2 out of the previous 3 seasons yet the jets haven’t been in a playoff game in 15 years Dolan is Goddamned genius compared to Woody

Do you know why he bought that? “He was inspired by sauce and how this great team is coming together” august 2023 Dolan and other owners are probably shaking their heads at our idiot woody. AL047
When the Jets fail in 2024 and both Salah and Douglas are gone, who are going to be the next head coach and GM??? So far as of today the experienced winning coaches that are available now are Belicheck, Vrabel, and Pete Carroll. All these coaches are experienced coaches with winning resumes (Belicheck and Carroll have won in the Super Bowl). The problem is Woody will never hire them because he wants to control and meddle. Historically Woody hires only rookie coordinators who have no head coaching experience. So be prepared for the coaching carousel to begin for the next 4 years because it will be more of the same. What is going to be sad is all the players like Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson and Quinnen Williams to name a few, will begin to demand a trade because they will see that the team is going nowhere. They will want to be released because they see that the team isn't going nowhere. When that happens, this team will look like crap no talent again. Then they are back again hiring a new GM to fix the team again and meanwhile the owner again will do everything again to meddle in the rebuilding of the team. With Woody Johnson you are going to get the same every year and you will not expect much.
