IOW such an insignificant amount that he wouldn't notice losing - and in fact got entertainment value for his $10 even if he loses - but (if he hit) he would notice winning (on top of the entertainment value along the way). I don't bet on sports myself. The last time that would even loosely qualify was when I still did a paid fantasy football league many years ago. I have nothing for or against it personally, other than a pretty tame take on it that people shouldn't bet what they can't afford to lose. I might do Doggin's bet myself, just because of the crazy odds, if it wasn't too much effort for me to go through the signup process lol.
