There is no space for an organic experience anymore.

Has not been the same since they shut down the halftime show at the Gate D spirals.

Because the Jets crowd is weak. I went to MetLife for the first time last season. The PA people don't help with the incessant screamingly loud music, sound FX, yelling, whistles, etc. It made the In Stadium experience kind of miserable... the Jets getting crushed by the Chargers didn't help.

When I used to go to a LOT of games in the 1990's the crowd just... did the chant organically and made noise when needed - and kept quieter when we had the ball. The Post-PSL crowd sucks at rooting for Football and apparently needs a retired Fireman to spell J-E-T-S. LOL

It's an assault on the senses.

And unfortunately, it's every venue, for every sport in America today.

Too many people getting paid salaries to eliminate silence.

your just pissed because some guy probably knocked you over trying to get a free t shirt that they fire into the crowd.😀

They upped their game and now have a gattling gun that does it

by the way they did bring back the always popular 'who let the dogs out'

Sweet Caroline is next.

im not a stadium hater but the experience inside is dreadful

Season 6 What GIF by The Office

Serious with this BS?

You're a fan. It's not about you.

No ones going to the Jets game or tuning in just to see Firemen Ed.

We do the chant without you there!

It began without him.  It will continue without him.  If he still wants to join in, that's great.  He'll get his screen shots but he won't be the only one.

Hey Ed...   put the narcissism back in the bottle.  It's not about you.

As soon as a fan think's it's all about him, the discussion is over. I don't care how many times we've seen Fireman Ed's veins popping out of his neck as a screams full throat on the big screen, if the Jets decide to show other folks or do something different, they don't need Ed's blessing or permission and they certainly don't owe him so much as a conversation. GTFOOH with that sh1t!

As long as Rodgers is cool with this, so am I! 😎

It's like that in all the major sports.  I've gotten into the UFC recently and it feels like it still has some organic stuff in it.  The fighters certainly say controversial things.  It's refreshing that something like that can even exist today.

There is nothing organic about the UFC.  The whole thing is Dana White's take on the WWE.  If that guy can make a dollar off it, it will happen.
