@TheClashFan  You inspired me.  Blasting here while I was preparing chicken.

The first three songs on Give 'Em Enough Rope are incredible.  Play them LOUD!

Deafheaven - Infinite Granite. An already great all-time band that practically invented a genre deciding to totally change direction, try something new, and puts out their best work ever. Completely blown away by the whole thing.

One of my all time favorite Summer songs.  Maybe because my old electric bass teacher was playing the album version through his double Ampeg amps as I walked in for a lesson.  Think my ears have still not recovered.

What a riff and stellar performance by the entire band.   As the years have gone by, I appreciate more and more Morrison's incredible gifts of poetry in his lyrics as well as ability to deliver a song.

Morrison's vocal (and the band's overall sound) is absolutely haunting.  In anything they ever recorded, two notes and you know it's Ray Manzarek and The Doors.

This one is a masterwork.  Really showcases Morrison's ability as an abstract poet and Ray's keyboard wizardry.
