Have you ever been to the D spiral at halftime? It's sheer maniacal lunacy that is fueled by some young attention craved ''women''. To generalize that is ridiculous. SeniorFlaJet
The Gate D extravaganza has been going on for years. They let it happen and now they will never stop it. Not only that now that it's been written up you can bet it will draw a few more hundred guys to Gate D who didn't even know about it. And in case you didn't notice they don't do player intros anymore because when the visiting team was introduced the fans would chant "Sucks" after each player's name. Jet fans, you gotta love em. I hear that and you are correct, there is no reason to throw bottles and spit, well unless it is a visiting fan standing there inciting the crowd, lol. But, as someone who chills at gate D because my seats are right there, the crowd pretty much only does that to the stupid broads who walk to the inside edge of the spiral, get the crowd going and act like she is gonna truly whip them out, then at the last second decide not to. Those chicks who want to whip the crowd up into a furry just to get some attention get what they deserve in my opinion. You have hundreds of guys screaming T-#-T-S and you are there waving your arms and asking for louder cheers and you are holding the bottom of your shirt, well, what do you reasonably expect?? anskyruben
I saw a Patriots fan get launched from the upper deck once back in the 80's . It's football, and the crowds are rowdy. I've been to different stadiums throughout the country and similar stuff goes on. Try going to a Raider Charger game , and you will see people get stabbed, and endless fights.. Uptight people should stay home and watch PBS. These kinds of things will never change in the NFL.

joebabyny
This is all being blown out of ****ing proportion yeah a bit. For those that don't know how it all works, people line up against the interior wall of the spiral, it is generally at least 2 deep so there are really no open spaces on the wall. Then the random chants start, T-#-T-S. At this point it is completely clear to anyone who happens to be there randomly that all these guys are looking for women to flash them, which would be a good tip for a girl not wanting to play along to move off the wall that she is probably not comfortably leaning against anyway because of the crowd. Then the singling out starts, if there is a girl against the wall generally a guy next to her will point her out to the crowd by raising his hand and pointing down to her. Everyone against the wall will now point to her and do the chant, at which point the girl usually shakes her head and walks away from the railing, no harm no foul. The crowd moves on to the next girl that is standing next to the rail, and this generally goes on and on where at the first site of attention the girl bows out and there is no abuse or thrown bottles. Now, where it gets crazy is when a girl sees what is going on and PURPOSEFULLY pushes through the crowd to get to the wall. This is clearly done for attention and to either play along and flash or to tease the crowd. If she whips them out the crowd cheers, and asks for ONE MORE TIME, and the girl does it again or walks off, with no bottles or spit or anything like that. If the girl goes in there just to cause a stir and get attention and get the crowd all going by acting like she is gonna play along but then doesn't, well, she usually incurs the wrath of the crowd. So pretty much the only time the crowd gets abusive with throwing stuff is when a girl pushes her way in and pulls a c### tease on the crowd, not the brightest idea. Once in a while you see an over zealous guy try to grab and pull a girl in, but this is always a guy who is actually a friend of the girl because then you see them all walk off together. So thats the deal, that is how it works, lol

JETSFAN5180
Where are the SECURITY,EVENT STAFF people whatever you want to call them??? While this is all going on? Where are the STATE POLICE who made such a huge prescence after 9/11? NOTICE The guy in the picture hes where nobody is.The YELLOW JACKET.The Meadowlands security, parking attendants, vendors whoever SUCK. Get into an argument in your seat and watch how quickly 10 wannabes come up to escort you out.But on serious stuff none can be found. This has been going on for years at gate D. Now all of a sudden its a big news story. The Meadowlands can careless about what goes on.The paper airplane idiots the drunks the litterers the thieves in the parking lot.Its all OUT OF CONTROL. If they are serious about creating a family atmosphere and stopping the nonsense.Take away the season tickets of the people who are commiting the offenses. Years back a friend of mine had 2 season tickets. He gave them to a co-worker who gave them to her younger brother,he got into a fight. My buddy lost his season tickets. But last year a guy I know gets jumped outside the stadium the 2 guys had tickets from a ticket ageny, owned by an agency NOTHING happened to the agencies tickets. Ive watched fans literally carrying in drunks right past the gate keepers and security. The Meadowlands and the New York Jets are to blame for all the trouble and nonsense that goes on on gameday. Any fool willing to go in the spiral to get the money deserves what they get. As far as the girls are concerned...Hey if they want to flash god bless them. Throwing bottles and spitting at them if they don't though is wrong. Be nuts but do it with some class.
Garb
No comment on the tradition - to each their own, I guess. But jeez, what is this? First date etiquette has drastically changed or I'm just old. Denisse Rivera, a 23-year-old from the Bronx, was on a first date Sunday. When she arrived at the crowd at Gate D, several men pointed at her, signaling men at all levels to chant in her direction. After a brief moment of hesitation, she flashed them. Then she took a bow.
