Bleedin Green
Trading next year's #1 for a player this year would be stupid. /discussion It would have to be a very young and proven player who still has at least a couple of years left on their current contract. Even then, WR would probably be the only position for the Jets to even consider making such of a move at. Of course, who the hell would trade a player like that? The Colts obtained a proven young promising RB for a pick that doesn't exist. The Jets currently have a Super Bowl winning defense. If only we could bolster the offense some way some how. Lupz27
Revis No but after the season I'll trade Milliner for Revis, what else are we going to spend the 16 million on? Everyone says that's franchise QB money, but news flash we don't have a franchise QB, or a QB who gets paid as if he is a franchise type even thou he isn't after this season, and won't have to pay that type of money for a franchise QB for at least 3 more years, so **** it why not spend it elsewhere on the best player at his position until the time comes when you FINALLY have a QB you need to pay that money to, and is deserving of it. 50 million next year is a lot of money, no need to throw 6 mill at a player worth 2 just because you can. CotcheryifyouCan
is this hypothetical cause if it is theres a ton: Rodgers, Luck, AP,Megatron, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Kapernick, Demarrious Thomas, etc. realistically i dont see anyone that would be available worth a #1. No way would i spend a #1 on T. Richardson.
