Patriots - 11-5 (and in the Super Bowl) - Says best Team in Football

Miami - 10-6 - Says much better in 2015.

Buffalo - 9-7 - Says Buffalo could be alot better, knows this "will anger Bills Fans", etc.

NY Jets - 6-10 - TLDR Jets suck, 6 may be generous (wanted to go with 4 or 5), QB sucks, lots of other things suck, not a good or winning team.

His Co-Host agreed all down the line.

Typical.

The Jets will get no positive press - until they earn it.

 I'm fine with that, generally.

And I usually repeat often "Don't listen to or trust the media, they are not our friend".

Just gets under my craw a bit, no doubts (or criticism, ever it seems) of the Cheaters, and wtf has Miami or Buffalo done of late to earn such reverence?

/shakeshead, like I said, it's typical, and typically annoying tbh.

Looks spot on and pretty fair.  Though I guess I could see the Jets winning 7 games...maybe 8, if the run game comes together and they have a top notch D.  But I think 6 is about right.  Terrible QB, questionable OL, slow LB'ers, rookie HC.  A great DL is awesome to have but it takes more than that...and while we've upgraded the secondary on paper, proving it on the field is another story.

But, but didnt all of the NFL analyst give us A+'s for the Bowles/Macc hire and our draft yet they talk about our QB situation?

Damn you IK!

I'm just fine with the team being totally discounted.  These same clowns will be falling all over themselves half way through the year praising them up if the jets are 6-2 and at the end of the year will be in i told you so mode if they falter down the stretch.

So with the addition of Revis,Cro,Skrine and Gilcrist could be no better then what we had last year??

Rich Gannon is legitimately the worst commentator out there. I can't stand the inflection he has at the end of every sentence. I would rather listen to Marv Albert struggle through his Alzheimers to try to remember our player's first names than listen to a single sentence of Rich Gannon's. I'm not even mad about his prediction I just genuinely dislike his work. Maybe he'll pull it together at the end of his career like he did on the field.

I don't disagree with you fish. We both know how these things usually work where the Jets are concerned.

I do think we are being underrated to some degree which typically happens with a first time HC and a new regime/GM but, at the same time, the Jets haven't exactly been world-beaters the last 3 or 4 years, so, I can understand the media's skepticism.

Now that being said, it doesn't mean that I agree with it - but I do understand it.

I'm sorry mate, I simply can't proverbially suck that much Dolphins or Bills proverbial cock, they simply haven't earned it.

The Phins could as easily be 6-10 and 10-6.  Buffalo?  The Bills under Rex could be a 4 win team as bad a Head Coach and as bad as their QB situation is.

I'm sorry, but saying today that both the Phins and Bills will sweep us (which they'd both have to do to win 9-10 games each) is horsesh*t.

They're not that good, and we are NOT that bad.

Call me a homer (it's a rare day that can be said, lol) but I reject the doom and gloom that this is a wasted year of 4-5 wins and tons of failure.

We have every reason to expect and demand this years jets team be the equal of Rex's rookie year in Buffalo or to match that bag of failure in Miami.

You really think we're a hopeless 5-6 win team?  Damn, why even bother to watch then?

Knock the Jets all you want... Miami is NOT a 10-6 team. Buffalo I can see being good, but Miami is not a good football team.

Miami has 10 win talent, do they have a 10 win QB and HC?  we'll see.  the recent year dolphins remind me of the early 90s Jets.  the talent is there but they can never quite get over the hump.

Yep no Revis Cro with a bad hip and rookie Geno with 12 tds and 21 picks we go 8-8.. Yet this team may win 6 games??

I expect we will win around 8 or more but we do have questions including a new HC.  we had some good fortune to win 8 games in 2013, rex did an amazing job.

Fitz man he can't throw a ball fast downfield for 75 yards like Jamarcus Russel and his WAR is -.05 if only we had traded our entire draft for Mariota or signed Jake Locker and Ryan Mallet

Last year we lost 2 games to the Bowl winning Pats by a total of 3 points.. If the 1-15 Fins with a new HC Tony Sparano can make the playoffs at 11-5 with decent QB play why can't the Jets go from 4-12 to 9-7 or 10-6 with a new HC and a influx of new talent??

Who sucking the Bills or Dolphags cock?  Gannon is predicting the Bills to finish with the same record as last year and they've improved on both sides of the ball (significantly better on offense IMO).  And they have the Dolphags winning 2 more games than they did last year with a much better team.  I dont see how that's unreasonable or sucking anyone's cock at all.  Tannehill is the 2nd best QB in the division (who I think will have a great season) and they've built some serious weapons around him while adding an absolute monster in Suh.   They're going to be a better team.  And have you seen their schedule?  They could legit start 5-0.

I think 6 wins is pretty accurate for a team without a QB and a rookie Head Coach.  Like I said, if the run game comes together and they do boast a top 5 D, I could see them maybe getting to 8 wins but that's a bit of a reach for a team without a QB IMO.

And why is that doom and gloom?  I'm predicting them to improve from last season.  I'm not going to give them an 8-10 win expectation for a brand new regime with no QB. That's unfair to Bowles and Mac.  Sure, they had a nice offseason but playing the game is different.  How many times have you seen the offseason winners be losers in the regular season?  Often.  Not saying that's the Jets but I think a successful season for the Jets is improving on the field which should equate to a few more wins.
