Holy mother of steroids...

I know we all have those fears at first blush, but I dunno with this one.  I heard good things I believe about DK as a person. Good family, good character etc. He may just be another megatron type freak.

Keep in mind that this photo was taken probably right after we all did 10 sets on the bench.. In other words they’re swollen like me watching vintage bush porn

Yeah. Like 95% of the league isn't on steroids. Kudos to DK for making the most out his cycle/blast by killing it in the gym and eating good. Add Top 99.9% genetics and that's what you get.

Can anyone explain exactly how a player that looks like that will have the quickness to actually get open in the NFL?

Is he going to play TE?

Give the kid some credit it looks like he's been hitting the gym hard, no way he is foolish enough to roid up before the draft.

Story about Metcalf on my local news website.

https://www.news.com.au/sport/american-sports/nfl/football-prospect-dk-metcalf-is-a-monster-among-men/news-story/a049d0a6f2b56e4d94ba8edbc6ee8e1c

It was picked up in Australia because the facilities Metcalf used are the same facilities Jarryd Hayne used to prepare for the season when he was signed by the 49ers. Even though Hayne was a dud, his name still means something to about 50 people in Australia.

Metcalf will be a third generation NFL player once he makes it into the league, his physique and athleticism should be pretty freaky. Will be interesting to see how he performs at the combine but he should post a 4.45-4.50 40 which is plenty good for a guy his size.

Your take on the "good people don't do steroids" opinion intrigued me.  So I looked up suspected and confirmed steroid users, starting with baseball, because that is the most prominent and easy to access sampling.  Of the list of  25 well known "cases" at least 19 of them were perceived to be good citizens and great guys.  I'm sure the same would be the case with Football Players.  Steroids is a performance enhancing drug, and amongst athletes I don't think it has the same stigma attached to it, as would cocaine or heroin.  For these guys it's about Contracts and Performance.  I don't think being a good person or upbringing had that much to do with it.  Maybe a consideration, but not a deal breaker. With careers and lifestyles at stake, I think "conscience" takes a back seat.  Now, about the "Vintage Bush Porn, you really are "OLD SCHOOL", aren't you.

i think i may gone too broad with my statement. I think all these guys use some form of enhancing substances. They probably cycle as well from time to time... I think by good guy, i meant that decision making support wise, they're more likely to avoid trouble. know their limits, bad decisions. etc.

Eitherway, it's good to hear that he's not Chris Henry. (RIP)
