pointman
Favre is a Jet fanboy since he played for us. Bet he'd go into Canton with his named linked to us if he could. He loves us that much. He is setting things up like Brandon Marshall singing our praises to Watson.

Of course we're no worse off than if we can't get Watson in a trade anyway, but that would sting just a little. Woah, we would have to bring in the Jetnation National guard if that happens here.

Time will tell, but I don't think it's going to prove me wrong. I agree with you. I don't see him as a can't miss prospect in fact I have never really been impressed and not sure he translates well to the NFL. I will say this, I would not be completely shocked if Jacksonville offers us a trade up opportunity.
Biggs
That was a close one. Good thing Gase got the memo before the Rams game that the tank was off.

Bruce Harper
There is absolutely zero chance of a 160 lb WR being picked ahead of Lawrence at number 1. If you don't like Lawrence, I could see an argument for Fields or Wilson or even Sewell but I just can't see a team spending that much capital on an undersized WR, as good as he is. Usually there is no way Houston would ever trade him in division either, but perhaps they would reconsider given the prospect TL is. Regardless, Watson is not choosing Jacksonville over Miami or NY.

However, it gives us a little more leverage in the negotiations with the Texans if we wait until we are on the clock and Lawrence is still on the board. The #2 pick becomes more valuable to Houston (assuming they feel the same about TL as everyone else seems to) and it may cost us less to trade for Watson (if we are still inclined to). If Jax isn’t taking Trevor they trade it for 4 first round picks. but no way they don’t take Trevor
