Does #1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence also "suck" because he's struggled throughout the entire offseason? 

What about Brett Favre HOF #4 who tossed an INT pick 6 during his first ever NFL throw?  Did he suck too? 

I guess I can say because of todays PRACTICE that my Saleh led Jets Defense is already better than the 1985 Bears Defense. Am I allowed to say that after today's practice? Poor Zach Wilson. The rookie is going up against the 1985 Bears Defense here in 2021.

This is the problem...

He had ANOTHER bad practice. It would be nice to start seeing him string a few good ones together. He learns from his mistakes, he is a film junkie, blah blah blah....can we get 2 or 3 good practices in a row?

Yes. If a rookie struggles in their first week of NFL practice and a team scrimmage then they are obviously doomed to fail. Duh.

I was there tonight and I really think this is an overreaction. There was at least three dropped balls on perfect placement passes. He forced two bad throws which resulted in picks. It happens, learning curve. The play calling and personnel seemed mixed. Lots of running and plays for the tight ends. Wesco is awful  btw. 

Not what I was hoping for but not ready to jump yet. Work in progress.

Cmon let's stay off the moonshine for a second here. He needs to start stringing together good practices. If you use the excuse that our defense is too good then you are saying that he can only look good against bad defenses.

Stop it...if he can't have 2 or 3 practices....GOOD ONES in a row then you need to stop singing his praises until he earns it.

I think what today tells you is how inflated most Jets fans projection of Zach has been since pre-draft felating… he’s got a lot to learn (as they all do). He’s not playing lob and catch vs Utah’s finest anymore

It’s also lots of running because that’s what the team period is. They do one session on the run game. Another on all pass. Then 2 min drill.

Tom Brady threw 12 INTs as a 2nd year player during his 1st year starting. 

Josh Allen = 12 rookie INTs. 

Joe Montana = 12 INTs during his 3rd year as a full-time 1st year starter. 

Troy Aikman = 18 Rookie INTs only 11 starts. 

Ben Roethlisberger = 11 rookie INTs. 

Aaron Rodgers = 13 INTS as a 4th year player but 1st year starter. 

Our kid Joe Namath = 15 Rookie INTs.

And it makes me wonder. How many INTs did these guys toss during, PRACTICE?!?!?

Do you know the answer or are you just talking out of your butt while acting and pretending as if Zach Wilson "is the only one" who's thrown rookie practice INTs?!?

And if practicing is "how you play" well then it looks like our Saleh led Defense is going to absolutely BALL HAWK this upcoming season. Because our Defense was out there practicing too you know...
