This reminds me of the time when Chad was saying he just needed to "fix his footwork, get his mechanics straight when he's in the pocket, stepping up to throw yadayadayada" bullcrap that he was spewing 3 years ago as an excuse for his floaters.

But now that his mechanics are all good (right, Chad?) he's throwing with "Great Velocity". You just cant make this stuff up.

The guy is a fraud and he thinks we are as stupid as he looks. If you fall for his BS you are as dumb as a bag of d**ks.

I wanted Vinny out and Chad in. I remember because the Jets were 1-4 and Vinny was obviously done and we had a QB on the bench who was drafted ror a reason. I was in 8th grade back then, so the memory is still there.

Who knows really. Odds are against ANY one QB being "the answer" though. But you have to admit, Chad boasting about his "great velocity" is kinda funny.

Funny? It's sad...and with 25% of the season already shot, Chad isn't going to get any better. As I said years ago when fans were thinking that Chad would lead us to the promise land..."Chad is what he is".

All you have to do is look how Buffalo played him.

Against the Pats, the safeties were 20 to 25 yards off of the line of scrimmage. Whitner was up on the line all day against the Jets. It was obvious that the Bills didn't think he could throw it far with velocity, placement, and accuracy.

Dude if clemens or tui or one of the unemployed flag fag boys from last year come in and throw cruise missiles around and we win i will be happy, i am not a chad fanboy just as i am not a blind fanboy of anyone. It's ironic that the first thing I can ever remember beinga big controversy on these boards was Testaverde/Pennginton in 2002. Back then it was clear to most that Testaverde was ill-suited to the WCO, and brainy Pennington was almost custom made for it, though his weak arm either wasn't as apparent nor had he sustained 2 shoulder injuries. Testaverde had taken that jets team as far as he could go.

Pennington deserved a shot then. Clemens for many of the same reasons deserves a shot now. This dink&dunk stuff isn't going to get it done.

One more thing-Sunday has the potential to be a really abd day. The Giants front 7 is very good. By the same token, their secondary sucks. Pennington's inability to get the ball upfilef makes this a really bad matchup for the Jets.

Don't give too much credit to that Giant D, It's a fraud my friends.

In my opinion, I have said in the beginning of the week that Clemens should start, however I am willing to allow Chaddy to one more start at redemption. The reason is I calmed down a bit since Monday and Tuesday.

If Chad lays an egg, I don't want to hear a peep out of you Chad supporters. Clemens MUST START.

If the defense yet again looks as if it is sleep walking, then we have to start looking at fat man (mangini) and the boy blunder (tannenbaum). In fact I will personnally start that thread come monday morning if indeed this happens. However, ever the optimist I am, I hope we get a win somehow, someway......
