Bugeater
I've noticed there are members here that live all over the country, what college teams do you all root for? I'm just curious who I might hate during football season. Obviously living in Omaha I was born a Nebraska fan. What about you?
Irish Jet
I follow players more so than teams. If I was to pick I'd say OSU.

Lil Bit Special
I root for the University at Buffalo Bulls. Since Umass is 1-aa i root for Buffalo since a buddy went there and they have been terrible since joining 1a. Someday when they are a decent mid-major I can say I was behind them all the way! WallsOfJerricho
Since I was born in Florida, I've always liked the Gators. Rutgers. Been going to those games since they'd be getting blown out by 60+ points. Now all of a sudden it's impossible to get tickets. Damn fairweather fans. My son just graduated from there in May. they did well in the MAC, but really blew it losing to Bowling Green and Miami... bunch of c*ck teases. Now I want a bowl berth! nothing would be better than a SUNY school making it to some worthless bowl game.
SweetLee83
Well, being from Buffalo, I go to alot of UB games, and obviously like them. However, my girlfriend lives in Ann Arbor and I believe I'm moving there in the fall, so theres always Michigan to root for. On a real personal level, I've always been a Texas fan though. I knew Vince Young would be special once I saw him play in spring ball his freshman year, thats when I really got into them.

I like Notre Dame always have going way back. Have adpoted Rutgers now that I live in New Jersey along with Wagner College being that I originally lived in Staten Island. Jetheelz
College FOOTBALL thread, Steve. There are worse teams out there. Give them a year or two, they might surprise some folks.

GangGreen
BC all the way! I was pissed off when we lost our first game last year. We were ranked number 2 in the nation and could've been undefeated! ANd also Matt RYan would've gotten the Heisman.

GangGreen
The only thing I don't like about BC is that it's a Catholic school. I have nothing against Catholics, but I'm not very religious myself, and I heard from my cousin that people really try and push their religions on you there. C-Mart28
As i am a Bowling Green man myself, I have to bull for the BG Falcons, though Rutgers would be my secnod favorite, followed by whoever is playing Ohio State and USC that week.
The Gun Of Bavaria
Since I wouldn't sell out my own school, I'll list the Eastern Michigan University Eagles. However, when you root for a 4th rate MAC school, you need a 2nd team if you want to enjoy the season. Therefore, I am a proud Florida State fan, along with my brother who went ther.
