A lot of people don't remember this but the week of the 2015 Super Bowl Kraft was interviewed and basically said that Brady was a great guy and like a son to him. And that he had been willing to take one for the team by signing a contract that gave the team more cap flexibility and Brady less money. And then he said about this guy he spoke of as like his own son that if he hadn't agreed to this deal they might not have been able to sign him.
