What happened to mo Wilkerson?

Seems like he's the same guy he was before the contract. Can't alter the course of the game, part of a defense that gets steamrolled at the end of every half and allows points... par for the course for him, and the rest of them.

Richardson said he wants fans to know he's "playing his heart out." Asked if others are, he said "I don't know." #Jets

Character limits: Richardson added it's "for (media)" to decide if everyone is playing their heart out. twitter.com/connor_j_hughe…

It's very simple, opposing offenses game plan to go "max protection" and quick 1-3 step drop passes against the Jets D.  It neutralizes the Jets great D-line and exposes their piss-poor secondary

We have a winner

He has a point, but honestly that's not what I saw today. Big Ben had ALL DAY in the pocket. Dude was touched one time and that was by a blitzing DB.

The D-line did nothing

Cracks are forming... Todd is done if this keeps up.

They were in max protect today. Used Bell to pick up the blitz and rush.  Ben also got rid of the ball quick with a lot of underneath stuff.

Yeah, but it wasn't 1-3 step drops. Ben had time all day in the pocket, which means that Mo Wilkerson isn't playing 86 million dollar football.

Granted, he's playing Mo Wilkerson football, but we accept that contract because we like Mo Wilkerson and we know that he's a good player, but he's not a 90 million dollar player.

Well then we have to say the same things about Richardson and Williams.  The whole line is being nullified

That must be what limited Bell to only 9 receptions. Are you friggin' kidding?  Ben never broke a sweat as a result of being pressured.

True, but the difference is that 2 of the three players are on rookie contracts.

You don't draft Big Cat, draft defense 8 years in a row then turn around and sign Wilk to that deal.

Its not like he didn't deserve to be paid, but the Jets seriously could have spent that money more efficiently. We have two guys that play Wilks position. We should have traded Wilk on draft night when we drafted Williams.

Well that's a whole different conversation
