Steelers' Antonio Brown wants Jets' Brandon Marshall to pay up for losing bet

Remember that silly "bet" from the preseason, when Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall "put up" a car against Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, claiming he'd have more receiving yards this season?

Well, Brown sure remembers.

And now that Brown has 1,284 yards (fourth-most in the NFL) with one game remaining in the regular season, compared to 788 for Marshall, Brown wants Marshall to pay up.

Project 375, of course, is Marshall's foundation, which raises awareness for mental health issues. So this was a rather good-natured tweet from Brown. Good for him for mentioning the charity.

I thought about including a comment about that, but decided the joke was too obvious.

I'd give you a negative rep, but your rep count is like Fitz' interception count...against the Chiefs.

Didn't Marshall start that bet. Well that was a long time ago when our players had higher hopes. But anyways sounds like a classy move by Antonio donating the Porsche to Brandon's charity. He would have probably made a big contribution anyways and it's for a good cause. Hopefully Brandon will stop it with the screaming fits at teammates. He did it also in Chicago and it got him out of there. It's hard enough for the coaches to get these guys to play hard and go by team rules. Just be a mentor and be an example on the field (which you have not been this season). Last year he was. When things mostly worked well.
