Former Bears draft pick, went to Bruce Harper University at Kutztown

Didn't know we had brought him in. Only info I could find. Intriguing

Bears selected Kutztown OG Jordan Morgan with the No. 147 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

Morgan (6’3/309) made 43 career starts at left tackle for the Kutztown Golden Bears, earning the 2016 Gene Upshaw Award as Division II’s top offensive lineman and becoming the first-ever O-Lineman to win Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year. While Morgan possesses long arms (34 5/8") and dominated his low-level competition, his pre-draft workouts underwhelmed with poor test results and only 21 reps on the bench. He was still hailed as a small-school sleeper in this abominably poor O-Line class.

Jordan Morgan is a big dude... Kutztown is about 30 minutes from my place and he played with my wife's cousin there.  Hope things work out for him, Id love to see him on the J-E-T-S.

Roberts is a 4.3 guy and he can't keep up with Anderson..

If he stays healthy, Robby will have a great year. Gase has to have taken notice how much seperation and potential for big plays Robby possesses.

Correct.  Gase is going to dial it up early and often this year for robby.

It would be actually nice to have some depth at QB. A LOT of #1 QB's either get nicked up and either need to sit a game or two during the long season. It's much better to have a reasonable 2nd stringer who can come in for a half or a game or two if necessary, and spare the starter from having to play gimpy (and risk further injury), and keep the starter as healthy as possible for the entire season. (Fresh for the PLAYOFFS!! ::GoJets: )

Josh Allen isn’t the only first round pick dealing with a lower body injury as they go through the organized team activity period for the first time.

Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams is also a spectator during Thursday’s practice session. Per multiple reports from the team’s practice facility, Williams is dealing with a calf injury and is doing light work on the side while the rest of the team does drills.

There’s no sign that the injury is a major one as those same reports call the team’s decision to hold Williams out is a precautionary one.

Williams was the third overall pick of this year’s draft and is one of 16 first-round picks yet to sign their first NFL contract.
