Popular Post EdReed22
It was a mistake to let him go. Wilkerson, Richardson, Williams should been traded and we should have built around him. He wasn't just a clogger. He constantly pushed OL back and penetrated in the backfield. We were good against the run with him. It's amazing he gave more effort, than the first round linemen that played next to him. He's had a pretty long career. Did pretty well for an UDFA. We should give more playing time to Kyle Philips. I love players that are underdogs that hustle and play to the whistle.
Popular Post Integrity28
He’s also more professional, accountable and mature than anyone in our roster. He’d have made a difference in the locker room.

Popular Post dbatesman
yeah, when I look at the 2019 Jets, all I can think is “man, we should be allocating more resources to the run defense” 2 1
EdReed22
Damon wasn't just a run stuffer. He was a handful. He made sure the guards didn't get to the second level. He put in more penetration and effort than the great Leonard Williams can. He actually allowed others to get 1 on 1 coverage and to win their battles.

DeVito played a big role too.
BROOKLYN JET
He was good when we had him and when the Giants first got him, but it's time to let go and move on.

EdReed22
Would you rather have D. Harrison right now or the lazy bum Moe, Richardson and now Williams. Ever since we let go of Wilkerson. These guys have been slacking. You think he put these guys in check??? Wasn't the locker room more together when he was with us.
BurnleyJet
Ah dear, I spend many treads saying that we should resign Harrison and not Mo Wilkerson. Unfortunately for us I was right. Our Dline play dropped off dramatically after he left. He was such a beast at in the run game, constantly taking up two blockers. 1
Beerfish
Why keep him when you can draft guys top 6 and top 3 that will not be as good in the middle? 1
Rangers9
He is a good player but they decided to go cheaper with McClendon. He's not bad, it just depends on where you want to spend your money and if you can get production out of that position. I don't question it that much. Our Fans know better than the Stupid coaches and mgmt. Fans can tell you has that it factor in him or who doesn't. The way he manhandles Olinemen reminds me of a lesser athletic BEAST BELOW:
Losmeister
btw... the more i thunk about it... the more I think we should just bench or cut Leo. weak, literally weak, player didnt do the bench press at the combine.... (Aaron donald 35 reps) ( Seems like a pleasant fellow, but we're talking about transforming this team... he has helped us lose too many games)
