Got to agree with Jeremiah here. The best QB on the field this year may be Wilson. The difference between Lawrence, and Wilson is size, and it matters.

Lawrence weighed in at 213 pounds at his pro day. Zach Wilson said in an interview he currently weight 216 pounds.

Can't watch the vid right now. Anyone have a quick recap? I'm assuming it's another, "they should keep sam or they should draft ______"

Unfortunately, until JD does SOMETHING, or it's draft night, this is basically all there is for these "insiders" to say. At this point I'm pretty much over hearing every experts take - "Well, the Jets could keep Sam and build around him, or start over with someone new at 2nd overall. It will probably be one or the other." ? Thanks for the fresh take lol

Lawrence is also recovering from shoulder surgery and hasn't worked out.  I like Wilson and hope the Jets take him, but Lawrence is a bigger guy.

His pro day was prior to surgery, though the injury might have affected his lifting regimen.

Because he’s one the most respected sportswriters in the industry and plugged into everyone in the NFL.

Peter King has already given the Pats an A grade for their draft.  He's very respected in New England.  Outside, it depends on what he's writing about.  Too often he's too busy fapping to the Patriots to be taken seriously.

He writes about the Pats because they’ve been unbelievably good and newsworthy for two decades.   Do you expect him to do most of his writing on the Bengals, Jets and Jags?

Nope.  He is an open book as a Boston sports fan.  His objectivity is definitely suspect when talking about the Red Sox and Patriots.

It's  Wilson's frame that has spurred the size comments. You can see Lawrence can put on 10 or 15 lbs and still perform the same. Not sure Zach can do that.

Well, if Wilson is accurate that he's 216 - he's already put on 6 pounds this offseason.  Can't imagine 4 more isn't possible.
