So many ticky tack calls -- and then it is a spot penalty. If a DB impedes a WR's ability to make a catch, throw a flag. But the one thrown on the Bears drive, was a bad throw, DB has same right to the ball as the WR. I didn't see anything that impeded the WR. QBs/WRs know how to take advantage of the rule to get calls. I absolutely hate when a ball is underthrown and the WR initiates contact coming back through the DB to the ball.
