I have no idea  but I would assume this is and was always happening once Rodgers  is signed.

wait on the Rodgers contract restructure then they'll extend Q.

oh and the trade that sends Davis to Arizona and returns us Hopkins, who also gets re-structured... right @Paradis???!!!??!?

From Woody's perspective, he is laying out $60mm for Rodgers before September, in cash.

If he signs Quinnen, the cap hit should be about the same, but Simmons got a $25mm signing bonus and $59mm guaranteed (I think the owners need to escrow the guaranty.

So this little Super Bowl push could make Woody pony up an extra $120mm in cash.  Let's see if that matters.

The Jets are all in now for the next two years.  Whatever the cost we have to sign Quinnen. Make him the highest paid lineman in the league and get him in the offseason program. Having a top five defense depends on it   The last time Rodgers played on a team with a top five defense he won the Super Bowl.  We can worry about the cap ramifications later when we’re done watching the parade!

2011 wa it for a SB win on a LOADED team.....J*sus. Oh wait, that doesn't matter. Wait until after the draft before signing Q.

By this time next year they'll have traded QW and people here will be talking about how great the trade was because we were able to recoup the 1st they gave up for Rodgers.

Will be the same crew that wanted to trade him for a 3rd 2 years ago.

That would be awful, Q is as vital to our defense as hopefully Rodgers will be to the O. I will become darker than @FidelioJet has become.

Absolutely. And he might be more inclined to take a lower cap hit this year to add some vets. He’s a decent cap hit with his 5th year option. So we have flexibility to how we maneuver his cap. And being he’s young. Having to restructure or add years isn’t a worry for us down the road.

You know.

Under the circumstances the Jets just put themselves in.  You might be able to to trade him now for 2 first.

You're going to need to put together a package to get a QB next year - so why not get ahead of it now.

Don't mess around with this kid.  You know what's being paid out there....get it done.

Colorado Buffaloes players are taking the advice of head coach Deion Sanders to "go ahead and jump in that [transfer] portal."

On Monday, 18 Colorado players entered the transfer portal, bringing the total number to enter the portal since Sanders took the job in Boulder to 41, according to The Athletic.

Hopefully he's All-In and flexible.
