After both Minshew and Aidan O'Connell played in the Raiders' second preseason game Saturday, Pierce said he would "sleep on it" before announcing who the team would move forward with within a few days. In the end it only took him the one night to decide Minshew was the man for the job, starting with Week 1 versus the Chargers.
