Even Fatcesa said on his own show that plain and simple the interview didn't go too well, something turned Woody off about Marrone when they talked. That's it. Sell the team, Woody. I don't believe that for a minute. I heard Mike Westhoff on the Kay/Lagreca show yesterday, he said his very reliable sources told him Marrone had an awful interview. There is no way Woody is letting that a$$hole Mansih Mehta influence him. As proof, Mehta dislikes Maccagnan also, but it appears he will be our next GM. It doesn't make at least SOME sense to you that we'd try everything we can to make sure we get the best HC out there with all those other teams trying to do EXACTLY the same?! What's your solution? Wait? Hire a GM first, let the other teams pick up the best HC cancidates and then end up with...what...Sparano? Mangini? Rex? Give me a break. The GM's are not going anywhere, we have our pick, whenver we want. There are no GM openings in the NFL right now. However, we do have half a dozen teams going HARD after the best HC cancidates. The guy has been a head coach at 2 places before and supposedly killed the Bills interview which led to him being hired. I think people just make this crap up. Woody had a plan to interview a bunch of candidates and he may like Quinn better, it doesn't mean Marrone was awful. No one really knows what goes on behind those closed doors.
