ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan and one of his former players, New York Jets safety Calvin Pryor, exchanged jabs during Ryan's news conference Tuesday -- with an assist from Twitter.

After Ryan walked to the podium in a Clemson helmet -- a nod to his son Seth's team, which is now No. 1 in the nation -- Pryor tweeted about Ryan's stunt:

Of course, this is 2015, so it didn't take long before Pryor's tweet was seen by Buffalo-based reporters, who asked Ryan about it.

"He's right," Ryan responded. "What else am I going to do? Just stand up here and whatever. I've got attention, but I've got it in the right spot.

"He's mad because Clemson put it on Louisville again this year."

Pryor, who played at Louisville, responded on Twitter shortly after: HA
