Gardner Minshew is going to light up both the Bears and Colts!

I don't think you're the best one to be offering predictions right now.

Come 4:05 this thread will EXPLODE and become our Super Bowl (Trevor Lawrence watch party) thread...

Because during our 1:00 games the Jaguars are going to upset and beat the Ravens; while Lamar Jackson completely wets the bed.

If the Jags haven't given up, they will win this game. The Bears are not that good and are due for a loss.

They were on a 6 game losing streak before winning their last two and I feel they're due for another LOSS.

Jets snapped a 13 game losing streak yesterday and Jax will snap their 13 game losing streak this Sunday (Mineshew isn't going to lay down for Trevor Lawrence).

He's also 2-0 against Indy All-Time over the last two seasons (undefeated) and they don't have the Secondary to stop them (and old man Philip Rivers has wet the bed before).

It isn't over (just) yet!

He went 22/29 (75.8%), 226 passing yards, 2 TDs/0 INTs; QB Rating of 120.8 @ Baltimore yesterday (he's ready to absolutely explode vs. Chicago this Sunday).

Yeah, pretty much all of that came in garbage time once the game was already over, but keep trying!

He also lit up Indianapolis week 17 of last year (27/39, 69.2%, 295 passing yards, 3 TDs/1 INT; QB Rating of 106.2).

Hey, with that logic we can dig up some games of Darnold's from two years ago as proof that he's just about to break out, too!

James Robinson injury ends it. He was their most impactful and best player.

Has he officially been ruled out?

If so any given Sunday just look at the 2 win Bengals right now without their best player and Franchise QB in Joe Burrow; up by 14 points here in the 4th against the 10 win Steelers.

These guys fought the Packers to the wire @ GB (lost by 4) and have a bunch of close loses

3 points vs. Tennessee,

2 points vs. the Texans,

2 points vs. the Browns,

3 points @ the Vikings.

They can absolutely beat the Bears @ home in Jax and Mineshew can absolutely smoke the Bears because their secondary is one of the most injury depleted secondaries within the entire league.

And if all else fails he's 2-0 All-time against the Colts.

Mon, Dec 21

James Robinson suffered an ankle injury in Week 15 against the Ravens.

Robinson was listed as questionable to return but did not make it back onto the field in the fourth quarter. He came into the game with a knee issue that had limited him at practice for most of last week. If the ankle injury keeps Robinson out for Week 16, Dare Ogunbowale would likely serve as the Jaguars' primary ball carrier against the Bears.

If you're trying to compare Sam to Mineshew; your logic needs perspective.

Mineshew (23 games): 501/797 (62.9%), 5,530 passing yards (240.3 passing yards per game), 37 TDs/11 INTs (3.36 TD-to-INT Ratio); QB Rating of 93.1.

vs.

Darnold (36 games): 690/1153 (59.8%), 7,656 passing yards (216.6 passing yards per game), 42 TDs/37 INTs (1.13 TD-to-INT Ratio); QB Rating of 78.4.

Gardner Mineshew is a much better QB than Sam Darnold...

After a long layoff of absence (6 weeks) he needed both Tennessee and Baltimore games (in order to shake off the rust).

He went 22/29 (75.8%), 226 passing yards, 2 TDs/0 INTs; QB Rating of 120.8 @ Baltimore yesterday (he's ready to absolutely explode vs. Chicago this Sunday).

Chicago's secondary is physically depleted with injuries and Buster Skrine could be returning as their starting nickel back; and Mitch Trubisky will crap the bed on the road @ Jax come this Sunday.

Gardner Mineshew lit up Indianapolis week 1 of this year (19/20, 95%, 173 passing yards, 3 TDs/0 INTs; QB Rating of 142.3).

He also lit up Indianapolis week 17 of last year (27/39, 69.2%, 295 passing yards, 3 TDs/1 INT; QB Rating of 106.2).

I'm convinced. Trevor Lawrence will become drafted #1 overall by our Jets; Mineshew-Mania is on the verge of happening (over the next two weeks).

I couldn't care less I'm just ready for them to become the next team who gives Chicago their 8th loss and/or watch Mineshew go 3-0 All-Time vs. Indianapolis.
