Kid is good no doubt and will definitely fit the system. That's a hard pass from me. With so many options on the table (Watson, Darnold, Fields) you guys are willing to go into the 2021 with a guy who had 2 major surgeries already? But let’s be real here. College highlights are just that.. The competition steps up exponentially. How many highlights do you see that you know ( if you know the game like I do because I’ve coached it- not at this level)- but still.. College players always have a HUGE separation and the defense is nowhere near as complex as a pro defense. I get it. This kid has some talent. Honestly, any first round QB you take, you’re all in on....Doesn’t matter where in the round you take him. Take him at 2 and don’t look back. You don’t mess around with the QB position, you don’t roll the dice. You don’t hope you get lucky.
