All indications are JD wanted Wilson.  In his own words, JD looks for "freaks".  Wilson and Becton were freaks in some positive ways and so they fit the bill for JD's prescriptions.  Problem is, JD didn't seem to worry too much about his "freaks" also being able to play football at the NFL level as a minimum.

Becton and Wilson were all JD and nothing but JD.

In the all-important search for the 2023 starting QB, if JD remains stubborn and makes any sacrifices to secure a good starter in order to keep Zach Wilson in the mix, I am SURE that will cost JD his job with the Jets.  He wont survive it.

The Jets dont have a QB.  They won some early games with a bit of luck and with Breece Hall.  They lost a few close games because the offense could not score due to the QB limitations.  The Jets are now what they were in August.  A very young team with a lot of talented players and NOTHING in the way of a starting QB.  The defense played well and that is a positive reflection on Saleh.  There is no fair or reasonable way to judge the offensive performance or LeFleur due to the unworkable QB situation.  Lombardi, Walsh, Parcells and or Belichick would lay an egg if they had to run the Jets offense with the QBs that were available.

The Jets did themselves a favor by losing this game.  They improve their draft position by around 5 spots.  They can get a better player than they would have if they won, or they have a better position to trade down if they want.

As for 2023, I will say right here, right now.  If they dont secure a bona fied NFL starting QB one way of the other, 2023 is going to be a big dive once again.

Either pay for a guy like Jimmy G and back his fragile self up with White, or draft another QB in 2023 and back him up with an affordable vet if that new QB needs a year to learn.

One more time...

White is a back-up, Wilson is awful and will never be a good pro QB.

No QB = No team and No Playoffs

The rest is BS

Yes I was here for that thread. The trajectory of this team versus those are very different. The Jets for once at this point have a lot of very young, very talented players. And Sauce is 100x the player Adams was for the Jets

What this team doesn't need is talk.

A Quote from the Steeler fan forums:

"I HATE THE JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING! "

So do we man....so do we.

Too bad for them , they couldn't beat us head to head. They can take their terrible yellow sanitary napkins and shove them wear the sun don't shine.

Unless Ken Walker goes for 200 today GW will finish with more yardage at a harder position coupled with the worst QB situation in the league.

After today Garret Wilson its debatable if Wilson is even a better receiver than Olave, let alone rookie of the year.

Their stats are absolutely identical now, but Olave has the yardage edge, and on a equally bad team.

It will go to Walker if he even has an above average game today, and he is already at 35 yards in the 1st quarter.

You dont know that for sure. Do you have x ray vision? War room bugged?
JD picks. He may take input from others but ultimately its his call and no coach is going to publicaly question it
