He’s started 30 games the last two years, registering 2.5 sacks and 8 QB hits, and 9 tfl. He’s also 36. Probably still a solid rotational player.

Popular Post BigRy56
Old but still effective if you like PFF at all. Seems like he’ll fit perfectly into the rotation. A big run stuffer is exactly what the D needed
SackExchangeNYJ
I don't understand it how these huge DTs who are run stoppers can play forever. I would think that the wear and tear would not allow them to play as long as they do, but there are so many who just keep playing for ages.

It is mostly anchoring. They don't have to run by people. Just stand guys up. 1 minute ago, CanadienJetsFan said: It’s called drugs Yeah, that too.

No need to be fast, explosive, or twitchy- just work upfield and take up space

SackExchangeNYJ
Makes sense. It's easier to be a wall when you're 38 or 39 than it is to be a rusher.

Bobby816
Have a feeling this guy gets more PT then some think. We have enough pass rush. We need someone to stuff the run and take on blocks. Woods is that.

Popular Post nycdan
Man, this thread makes me wish Kris Jenkins didn't get injured. Popular Post Green Ghost
I don’t ever remember a time like this where every single move the Jets make is hailed as either game changing or a solid depth piece. We’re either going to be a very good football team this year, or have the most angry message board ever. There will be no in between. 2 3
