It's 75m over two years, not 75m each year. He's getting 37.5m a year, well below the QB market.

Holy sh*t, I'm stunned.  I can freely admit I never saw this coming.  We all knew the contract restructure was totally necessary, but that's a substantial cut in pay he's taking.  At the very least Rodgers is doing more than his part to help this team out.  Other players better open up their eyes and take notice.

Hard to imagine we don’t have something else big planned if his hit is only 9mill this year and we have over 11mill in cap space and still need/should restructure CJ and CD. Doubt we’re just going to keep 15-20mill in cap space as a win now team just because.

At least that's my understanding.

Basically a two year $75mm deal (but all guaranteed) ...the only question I had - is there additional salary in 2023 or 2024 - that would make it more than the guaranteed - but that doesn't look to be the case.

It looks like he took a $35mm pay cut.  That is absolutely stunning.
