Popular Post Trotter
I heard him on McCafé today and they asked about Zach in the second half and he specifically brought up play calling with an interesting grin It just came off a bit strange as if he knew something
Jack Straw
Cameras would have caught this. This should be easy to verify or disprove. 2

jetswinbaby!
So when Rodgers retires, he calls plays for Zach... Genius!... 1
TBJ
Rogers never planned on playing more than 4 snaps for the Jets. He got Hack here as part of his transition to OC. 1

BigRy56
Rodgers wasn't calling the plays but I wouldn’t be shocked if having Rodgers in the building for meetings, practice, and prep the last 3 weeks was wildly helpful 1

T0mShane
I’d say this was likely after halftime, but it was more a function of the season being over and the Jets going YOLO than it was anything strategic or sustainable. The big excuse Zach fans have clung to was that Zach was robbed of the opportunity to work with Greg Knapp, who was effectively brought in to be Zach’s personal tutor and bubby. Rodgers gets back full time and takes Knapp’s place as the human shield protecting Zach from criticism and assorted workplace pressures. Adoni Beast
The addictive hope with the undeniable failure looming that this team gives its fanbase is like a Greek tragedy... ...or like being a sex addict when you have erectile dysfunction.

Jet_Engine1
I doubt ARod was calling plays, probably more like, "Hey buddy, stop being a ******* idiot. Move the pocket and let the kid throw, bro". Let's see it happen a few more times before we light the Warning Beacons of Gondor. 1

The "dead guy" excuse is my very least favorite of the Zach excuses. 1

Rangers9
There was reporting during a game after another bad play call by Hackett even AR his pal flinched and couldn't believe it. So who knows more how to run a successful offense. Not Hackett. So good conspiracy theory.

Hex
There's footage of Rodgers shaking his head in previous games after a playcall and the play goes nowhere. Wouldn't be surprised if Saleh noticed.

Lol. But the clips of Hackett in the booth after jets scores, he acted like “ he “ did something so very special. Possibly rodgers gave input, but Hackett obviously was the final decider. Jetkwondo
3 hours ago, JohnnyLV said: Actually it wouldn't as Rodgers already wears a headset. Which I saw him talking into while on the sidelines during the game, and I think the announcers noted it as well... Even if it was just him giving Hackett suggested plays based on what he was seeing I believe he was definitely involved. I would imagine he and Hackett have many plays that they have used in the past that would only take a second or two to convey to Zach like the one to Cobb for the first TD. He said on McAfee today that that play goes all the way back to Bill Walsh... Does anyone think Zach knows that off the top of his head?
