Popular Post rtnelson
Sure guy, you can go seek a trade. Find a team willing to give us a first rounder, or we'll see you week 1, or next year, or whatever. 6

Popular Post ARodJetsFan
This ball is in the Jets court now & they are squarely in the driver's seat; Reddick has ZERO leverage here. All he can do is sit out the season in protest, which would means he'd lose a year's salary & his value on the free agent market would take a huge hit. 14
Popular Post Lupz27
Simple solution Find a team willing to either swap pass rusher, or get a comparable pick. If you can’t make him pull a L Bell and sit out and throw away his 13+ million he would make this year. And try and cash in next year (good luck with that). 3 1
Popular Post Trotter
2 minutes ago, Testaverde9819 said: A literal disaster. Not only that, by doing this trade Douglas by definition gave Reddick all the leverage by not doing a contract in conjunction with the trade. Total incompetence While not the greatest look in the world - is it really a disaster? Huff did not want to be here - and was going to go one way or another. So now potentially they move Reddick for the same 3 or possible 4th rounder and let the young guys play or let him sit and let the young guys play. JD trusted the guy and got burnt if the story of how the trade went down is accurate. So bad look - absolutety but I dont see the disaster aspect. 4 1

Total incompetent chess move. You don’t get it. The jets couldn’t give out a long term deal to huff, not with the resources they’ve already invested into the position . Reddick was a one year rental that wouldn’t interfere with the ability to sign our young guys next year. in addition to that, this was all worked out prior to the trade and Reddick changed his mind. I’m not blaming JD for a guy going back on what he said. 12
Popular Post Wit
Ok this is a joke. LOL. That being said, I like that JD sticks to his guns. Someone lied; and someone didn’t get something important in writing. The jets will be ok. Maybe this lets them trade for a receiver. Ghost
This is hilarious. The ultimate JD blunder. Not re-signing a young stud pass rusher that was barely in his prime only to TRADE for a pass rusher that is nearly in the end of his prime only to never agree to a contract prior to being traded. I give JD credit for most of his moves he made this year but how can this happen? This is beyond embarrassing. The absolute worst GMs would even understand my point. Is he even trade able? Can we at least acquire our 3rd back? 1 3
Popular Post JetFreak89
Assuming it actually went down as initially reported and that Reddick agreed to play out the season on the current contract, you don’t cave to his demands now. You make him an example for all future players who want to back out on their word and let him sit. He wanted to **** around and now he’s about to find out.
